WHAT IS CITY STATS USA?

Every 10 years the United States Census Bureau performs a nationwide Census. As mandated by the United States Constitution, the census results are used to allocated Congressional seats, electoral votes, and government program funding. The census also collects interesting information and statistics about the demographic, social, housing, and economic characteristics. The state, city, and county statistics found within our site are compiled from the most recent census in 2000. Some estimates from recent surveys will also be used to depict the current characteristics of the states, counties, and cities across the United States.
